The Future of Education

In the past, students had to reach for pen and paper to take notes during classes. University employees also had to rely on paper and folders. Thanks to digitalisation, things have changed in both of these areas. And not only there! Together with our partners, we created a forum to discuss the most important and exciting future topics in education. They include new forms of learning, such as adaptive or mobile learning, breakthrough technologies and relevant topics such as sustainability through digitalisation.

What will education look like in 20 years? Andrew Ko showed us in his keynote five enablers to transform our traditional instructional model of learning into a future-oriented digital model of learning.

Reinventing the Classroom with Artificial Intelligence

Dr David Kellermann from UNSW gave us an inspiring overview of his project: how to build a collaborative, integrated platform for learning, where 500 students work together as a team. And how to make 'Online' better than 'On-Campus'.

"One size fits all" is outdated

That's why the future of learning is adaptive. Daniel Hong from Area9 Lyceum gave us a great overview of what adaptive learning can do and how it can cut learning time in half.
